Started this thing the other night instead of finishing things >.< It’s Geisler, but I’m redesigning his horns/deciding whether or not to give him human or animal ears (learning towards animal ears … of course hahaha), so his appearance will probably be different for the next few times I draw him.

Don’t worry about it! Whenever is good for you :) Ech, I understand weather issues, it was way too warm for a couple days, but seems to have cooled down for now. Hope it stays this way |D

Yess, fluffiness! Thanks! The eyes looked weird to me before so I redrew the pupils, I’m glad if it helped any.
Yeah, because of those reasons - I couldn’t get the elbow to look right, and the composition of that sketch has so much negative space, just seemed kind of blah to me xD

Simple portrait of my favorite literary robot, R. Daneel Olivaw. From Isaac Asimov’s ‘Robot Novels’ series.
I finally opened the 2 TB hard drive I got for Christmas and backed up my major files today. The file transfers ended up taking the entire day, and the large amount of files slowed my computer to the extent that I could only open a very small photoshop file, and even then my tablet would lose sensitivity every few brush strokes. So I couldn’t work on anything but made a new sketch instead, here’s a crop of it.

Thanks! Ohh, and thanks for pointing that out, that it isn’t clear! I’ve added a collar in the picture and some shoulders to hopefully help clarify, I’ll post it sometime later. I’m too sleepy to write any more coherently, I’ll send you another ask about the trade tomorrow :)

Thanks! Yeah, when I was attempting the frills on the blouse, I couldn’t help thinking, “Yukito could do this so much more easily,” haha xD I still envy how effortlessly you draw your frills and folds. :) In the lighting experiment, I actually did change his gaze to look off the page instead of right at the viewer, I thought how it was in the original was a little unnatural. Oh, a trade! It feels like I haven’t done one in forever. I’ll message you :)

I worked on the lighting experiment from yesterday, but it’s being irritating so I had to do a sketch to relax. Think this was an hour or so, maybe I’ll see if I can refine it after dinner (good excuse not to finish the lighting experiment ACK)
